The great Sundarbans is the main point of attraction sitting within a complex system of rivers, with an approximate area about 6000 km2, it is the largest single mangrove forest in the world. This is the abode of the Royal Bengal Tiger and on of the most potential sites for ecotourism. It has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Khulna has other archaeological sites also.
