Being an old city, Dhaka has many potential tourism sites to offer which include numerous Sultani, Mughal and Colonial establishments, river fronts, recently developed (before and after the liberation war of 1971) sites and surroundings etc. The National Park at Gazipur, Sonargaon (one of the oldest capital of Bangladesh), are situated 25 Km away from Dhaka.

Chittagong Hill Tracts
There are three hilly Districts of Chittagong Division. The Districts is Rangamati, Khgrachari and Bandarban. The Chittagong hill tracts offer diversified tourist attractions ranging from fascinating tribal life, tropical evergreen forest, blue lakes and picturesque valleys. However, many of the attractions have remained virtually inaccessible. The average height of picks is around 1220 m.

Sundarban
Sundarban is one of the biggest mangrove forests in the world. Sundarban has a great importance in Bangladesh tourism. It plays an important economic role in Bangladesh economy. A large number of foreign people come of visit this natural mangrove forest in Bangladesh. The area of the Sundarban is about 6000Sq.Km. according to common information about Sundarban. According to forest limits north Bagerhat, Khulna and Satkhira districts, Sought-Bay of Bengal, East-Bales war river, Perojpur, Barisal district and west-Raimangal and Hariabhanga rivers which partially form Bangladesh boundary with West Bangla in India. Different kinds of natural beauties are seen the sundarban. Among them Royal Bengal Tiger. Wildlife viewing, nature study, meeting fisherman, woodcutters, honey-collectors, peace and tranquility in the wilderness, the world’s largest mangrove forest, spotted deer and revering beauty are referable. It is estimated that there are now 400 Royal Bengal Tigers and about 30000 spotted deer in the Sndarban. Besides different species of birds mammals, insets, reptiles and fisher. Over 120 species of fish and over 260 species of birds have been recorded in the Sundarbans. The Sundarban is the central loving and magnificent point of the poet, novelist, dramatist and beauty lovers. Thousands of charming streams, creeks, rivers and estuaries have increased its glamour. Not only Royal Bengal Tiger of natural scene but also spotted deer, crocodile, jungle, fowl, wild boar, lizard, monkeys are the natural beauties of the Sundarbans Migratory flock of foreign ducks, golpaita, fuel wood, honey, shell and fish also add to the natural beauty of the Sundarban. People generally come to visit the Sundarban by air, road or rocket, steamer, boat to Khulna the gateway to the Sundarban. The main tourist spots in Sundarbans are Karamjol, Kotka, Kochikhali, Hironpoint and Mandarbaria. In conclusion it is to be said that Sundarban is the pride of Bangladesh.
